HIPs (Home Information Packs)

If you are selling a property in most instances you will need to have a Home Information Pack which can be passed to prospective purchasers. You must have commissioned a Home Information Pack before an Estate Agent can start marketing your property. Unfortunately, non compliance will result in penalties for both the property owner and the Estate Agent handling the sale.

The pack consists of standard documents including:

• An Index
• An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)
• A Sale Statement
• A copy of the Title Certificate and Plan
• Local Authority Searches
• Drainage and Water Searches

White and Hayward have links with 2 reputable HIPS providers and should you decide to instruct us to sell your property we shall commission the pack on your behalf at a very competitive fixed rate. (Our standard pack for a Freehold property with 3 bedrooms or more costs £360 (inc VAT).
